Labor Day Weekend · Friday, September 4 – Sunday, September 6, 2026 · YMCA Camp Weaver, Greensboro NC · Theme: Surah Al-Kahf

This year's theme is Surah Al-Kahf.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) taught us to recite Surah Al-Kahf every Jumu'ah, and it is a surah built around four trials — and how a believer stands through each of them:

  • The trial of faith — the People of the Cave, who left everything for the sake of Allah and were given refuge.
  • The trial of wealth — the man with two gardens, who forgot Who gave them to him.
  • The trial of knowledge — Musa (AS) and Al-Khidr, and learning that we do not see the whole picture.
  • The trial of power — Dhul-Qarnayn, who was given the earth and stayed humble before his Lord.

Over the weekend our halaqas, activities and evening sessions walk through these four stories together, insha'Allah.

Registration pricing, per person:

  • $100 — early bird, through August 14
  • $120 — August 15 through September 3
  • $140 — registering on the day of camp

The price is set by the date you register, and the total shown below is what you owe. Every registration includes two nights of climate-controlled cabin lodging, all halal meals from Friday dinner through Sunday lunch, and every camp activity.

Brothers and sisters follow separate activity tracks; swimming is always private to one group at a time.

In consideration of being permitted to participate in Burlington Masjid Camp 2026 organized by Burlington Masjid, I acknowledge that participation is voluntary and involves known and unforeseen risks, including outdoor recreation, water activities, high ropes and zipline, sports, travel, and overnight stays. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release, waive, and discharge Burlington Masjid, its board, committees, officers, volunteers, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of any loss, damage, injury, or illness sustained while taking part, including claims caused by ordinary negligence. This release does not apply to gross negligence or willful or intentional misconduct. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the released parties to the fullest extent permitted by law. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.

In the event of injury or illness, I authorize camp staff and the released parties to obtain or administer first aid and to arrange emergency medical treatment as deemed necessary. Attendees will conduct themselves respectfully, follow the instructions of organizers and volunteers, observe the rules of camp and the venue, and behave in a manner befitting the values of the masjid. Burlington Masjid may dismiss a participant for conduct that is unsafe or seriously disruptive, without refund, and a parent or guardian may be asked to arrange pick-up of a minor.

Your total is the price per person for the date you register, multiplied by the number of attendees you list. Submitting this form commits you to that amount whether or not payment has been sent yet. If you pay by card on the masjid terminal, a 3% service charge is added to the total. If you need to withdraw an attendee, contact a camp coordinator before camp.
